By using VelvtVIP's website or purchasing a pass or membership through VelvtVIP, you agree to these Terms of Service. VelvtVIP is operated by VelvtVIP LLC, 3801 Thornwood Circle, West Des Moines, IA.
VelvtVIP lets you purchase venue passes and table bookings, earn membership status at the venues you buy from, and optionally sign up for monthly VIP subscriptions and for text messages from VelvtVIP and participating venues.
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use VelvtVIP, and you agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or making a purchase. VelvtVIP is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age. Many participating venues serve alcohol and admit only patrons 21 and older regardless of what age a pass was purchased at -- purchasing a pass does not guarantee entry, and each venue sets and enforces its own minimum age for admission.
VelvtVIP does not perform identity or age verification at any point in the purchase or account creation process. Checking identification, confirming legal drinking age, and all other admission decisions are made entirely by venue staff at the door, under each venue's own house policy and applicable law. VelvtVIP is not responsible or liable for a venue's decision to admit, refuse, or eject any patron, including on the basis of ID or age, nor for any venue's compliance (or non-compliance) with alcohol service or admission laws.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can refund a pass yourself from My Passes in the VelvtVIP app within 24 hours of purchase, as long as it has never been scanned at the door. Outside that window, passes are generally non-refundable, except as required by law or as otherwise stated by the venue you purchased from.
VIP subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until canceled. To cancel, email support@velvtvip.com. Deleting your VelvtVIP account does not by itself cancel an active subscription.
Program description. VelvtVIP VIP Texts is a recurring text message program from VelvtVIP and the participating venues you book with. Messages include VIP offers, event updates, and reminders about your bookings and passes. All program texts are sent from VelvtVIP's own messaging service.
One opt-in per phone number. Your consent is tied to your mobile number, not to a single venue. One opt-in covers texts from VelvtVIP and from every participating venue where you're a member or VIP subscriber -- you become a member of a venue the first time you buy a pass or book a table there. Likewise, one opt-out stops all of them.
What venues can send. Venues write their own offers, but every campaign is reviewed by VelvtVIP before it is sent and is automatically checked against prohibited-content rules -- for example, venues may promote events and entry, but not alcohol specials or drink pricing. Venues do not get access to your phone number through VelvtVIP.
How you join. You join only by checking the SMS opt-in box next to a phone number field -- at checkout, when joining a waitlist, or on our VIP texts sign-up page. The box is never pre-checked. By checking it, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from VelvtVIP and the venues you book with at the phone number you provide. Consent is not required to purchase. The program is open to holders of US mobile numbers who are 18 or older.

Reply STOP to any program text to opt out at any time. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work the same way. Opting out applies to your number across VelvtVIP and every venue, and we will not send you further program texts unless you opt in again. Reply START (or UNSTOP) to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below -- other replies to program texts are not monitored.
Purchase confirmations and table-booking reminders are sent by email whether or not you join the text program, and opting out of texts does not stop those emails.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Not all carriers are supported.
You agree not to misuse VelvtVIP, including by attempting to defraud a venue, transferring or reselling passes in violation of a venue's policies, or interfering with the operation of the platform.
VelvtVIP's website, branding, and software are the property of VelvtVIP LLC and may not be copied or used without permission.
VelvtVIP is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VelvtVIP LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
