VelvtVIP is a ticketing, membership, and marketing platform for bars and nightlife venues. VelvtVIP is operated by VelvtVIP LLC, 3801 Thornwood Circle, West Des Moines, IA.
When you buy a pass, sign up for a venue's membership, or subscribe to a VIP pass, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) your phone number. We also keep a record of your purchases, pass usage, and membership tier at each venue, and whether you've opted in to receive text messages. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe -- we never see or store your full card number.
We use this information to process your purchases, issue and validate your passes, track your membership status at each venue, send you confirmation emails, and respond to support requests. If you've opted in, we also use your phone number to send you text messages on behalf of the venue you're a patron of.
Your phone number is only collected and used for texting if you explicitly opt in via the checkbox presented at checkout. You can opt out at any time (see below).
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate VelvtVIP, each of whom processes your information on our behalf and under our instructions -- they do not use it for their own marketing:
We retain your information for as long as your account or membership is active, or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at support@velvtvip.com.
VelvtVIP is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age -- most participating venues serve alcohol and admit only patrons 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has created an account or provided us information, contact us at support@velvtvip.com and we will investigate and remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
